Acrylic solid surface is a 100 percent man-made product. It is composed of acrylic or modified polyester and additional particles to create a textured appearance to the surface. Acrylic solid surface is machine workable, meaning that it can be cut into any shape as well as be heated and molded.

    An added feature of this material is that the seams are not visible through a process called fusion. Fusion is the process of sanding down the material with certain grades of sanding pads and then polished to a certain sheen.
